Arrive in Luang Prabang International Airport and meet your driver on arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3
Luang Prabang - City Tour (Breakfast)

If you’re able to wake up before dawn (05:30 am), you’ll have chance to witness and participate in offering alms to hundreds of saffron-robed monks – an awe-inspiring sight dating back generations in Laos. After breakfast, start your visit to the Royal Palace. (Open from 08:30 a.m to 11.30 a.m and from 01.30 p.m to 03.30 p.m daily except on Tuesdays). Continue with the exploration of the main Buddhist temples of Luang Prabang including; Wat Visoun, Wat Ahamand Wat Xiengthong. Then visit the Wat Mai temple and watch sunset at the top of Phousi Hill. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4
Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave - Kuangsi Waterfall (Breakfast & Lunch)

After breakfast, embark on a two hour cruise in a long-tail boat on the Mekong River and visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. After lunch, drive south to one of Luang Prabang’s most picturesque sights, the Kuang Si waterfall. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang - Vientiane (Breakfast) -by bus 8 hours

Transfer to bus station for ride to Vientiane. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 6
Vientiane City Tour (Breakfast)

Pick-up at your hotel and we start to explore Vientiane. Embark on a sightseeing tour of the city’s major historic sites including religious museums of Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple that survived from the Siamese war of 1828 with its cloister containing more than 8000 Buddha statues; Wat Ho Prakeo, the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statue or Pra Keo,; That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa, containing a piece of the chest bone of Buddha; Patouxay (Lao Arc de Triomphe), built quite recently in commemoration of those who died during the wars in the past and it is today the landmark of Vientiane.

Vientiane - Phnom Penh (Breakfast) - by flight 1.15 hours

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 8
Phnom Penh – City Tour (Breakfast/Lunch ) )

Have breakfast in the hotel. Firstly, visit The Silver Pagoda (or the temple of the Emerald Buddha. The Pagoda’s steps are of Italian marble and inside, its floor is comprised of more than 5000 silver tiles, which together weigh nearly 6 tons. In the center of the pagoda is a magnificent 17th emerald Buddha statue made of Baccarat crystal. Next to The Royal Palace the grand home of Cambodia’s King. At the end of the tour visit Wat Phnom located on a man-made hill, 27 meters high, in the middle of Phnom Penh. The pagoda was built for the first time in 1372 to house four Buddha statues said to have been deposited by the waters of the Mekong River. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom) (Breakfast & Lunch)

We spend a full day to visit the well-known Temples of Angkor Archaeological Park. Wake up early at 05:00 am to witness the beautiful Sunrise at Angkor Wat or Ta Prohm. Then back to hotel for breakfast and continue the tour to visit Angkor Thom. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Is it safe to travel in Vietnam?
Vietnam is seen as a safe country to visit for foreigners. Unfortunately, there is the risk of pick pocketing in major tourist hotspots, such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. For this reason it is wise to take practical precautions when visiting crowded places. Generally, it is advised to leave high value electronics and other valuables locked in your luggage or left in the hotel safe. Additionally, money, passport or similar items can be kept in a waist belt or pouch that hangs around the neck.
What type of clothes should I pack for Vietnam tour?
Basically, the preferred clothing choice for the warmest month are likely to include synthetic or light cotton trousers, shorts, or tops that will quickly dry. Additionally, on visits to religious temples or monuments, there is a need to cover up so it helps to pack a shawl or scarf for the shoulders and head area.
What is the electrical current in Vietnam?
The electrical outlets in Vietnam are in the 220V – 240V range, which is typical in European, African and Asian countries, as well as Australia.
How safe is Cambodia?
Cambodia is a relatively safe country both in the rural countryside as well as in larger cities. As always, travelers need to be aware of their surroundings and use common sense when venturing out at night. Crime rates in general are very low, particularly against tourists. The most common issue reported are pickpockets when visiting crowded marketplaces or shopping areas. Be wise and keep your possessions hidden under your top layer of clothing to prevent anything from being stolen.
Is the water safe to drink?
The tap water is generally NOT safe to drink anywhere in Cambodia (Also Vietnam). Bottled water is readily available at tourist sites, hotels, & restaurants, and hot water (boiled to make it safe) or hot tea is generally offered with a meal at a restaurant. Travelers can also use bottled water when brushing your teeth to be extra cautious.
How much should I budget for tips?
Tips are not required on any of our tours. However, it is customary to offer a small tip for exceptional service. Tipping amounts vary widely, but our recommendation for a full day tour is $3-$5 per day for your guide and $1-$3 per day for a driver. Other travelers opt to bring small gifts from their home to give to service providers along the way.
