Itinerary

Day 1
Lima Arrival

Arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel.
*Take note check-in at hotels in Lima is at 3:00 p.m., therefore in case of early arrivals, passengers should wait at the lobby until check-in time, otherwise book the room a day earlier.

Day 2
Lima (Breakfast)

Take your free time in the morning.
In the afternoon, we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. After this, we go on to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors San Martin de Porras and San Rosa de Lima used to walk around in the 17th century, and where their remains rest today.

Day 3
Lima - Arequipa by flight (Breakfast)

Transfer to the airport to catch the departing flight to Arequipa.
* We suggest booking a flight arriving in Arequipa around 11:30 a.m.
On arrival, welcome reception on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free morning to get used to the altitude. This afternoon, the White City opens its doors on a journey that begins in the beautiful Colonial district of San Lazaro, the founding place of Arequipa; from here we will walk through its picturesque streets adorned with geraniums to later go to the Carmen Alto viewpoint for a chance to see the wonderful landscape of agricultural terraces and the three volcanoes surrounding the city: Misti, Chachani and Pichu-Pichu. It is time to head for the Yanahuara Colonial district, famous for its Andalusian style church and its viewpoint, architecture jewel surrounded by sillar (volcanic stone) arches. Then we will visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, impressive religious monument which was closed for about 400 years; with narrow streets, squares and gardens reminiscent of the old quarters of Seville or Granada. We will proceed to the Main Square to see its beautiful Cathedral and the stone arches that surround it, and finally, it is time to visit the Church of the Society of Jesus, founded in the seventeenth century by the Jesuits, famous for its cloisters and its magnificent San Ignacio Dome.

Day 4
Arequipa- Colca (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

We set off to the spectacular Colca Valley going up the foothills of Chachani volcano and admiring the Misti and Picchu Picchu Volcanoes. Then we cross the vicuñas reservation of Pampa Cañahuas where we can see them running free in the high Andean lands. Peculiar villages around us. We will stop for lunch on our way to the hotel. Free afternoon to rest and enjoy the hotel and the optional visit to the thermal baths in the area. Dinner.

Day 5
Colca -Puno (Breakfast/Lunch)

Early in the morning we will go to the Condor Cross viewpoint. Before us the shocking flight of the condors, huge Andean birds on the brink of extinction and symbol of the Andes Mountain Range. The view at this place allows us to appreciate the canyons depth, considered as one of the deepest in the world. We will then visit the Maca and Yanque towns which still keep the colonial churches. Noon After lunch, we will set off for Puno on bus. The trip takes about 5 hours and we will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel upon our arrival.

Day 6
Puno: Titicaca Lake (Breakfast/Lunch)

A full day tour to explore Lake Titicaca. First we will visit the Uros , the friendly inhabitants of these handmade islands made of totora reeds. Then it’s off to Taquile Island, a place in which the settlers still maintain their ancestral traditions and colorful typical clothes. A great opportunity to explore the island and get the best view of the lake. A typical lunch is provided in the island. Return to the city in the afternoon.

Day 7
Puno - Cusco (Breakfast/Lunch)

Departure on a tour bus to Cusco. On the way we’ll stop to visit the attractions this beautiful route has to offer. Our first stop: the in site Pucara Museum and a chance to get one of the local classic bull shaped ceramics. Then it’s lunch time and the opportunity to see the view at La Raya, natural border between Puno and Cusco. We will continue our trip to Racchi, Temple of the Wiracocha god where the walls and narrow streets stand out. Before our final destination, we will stop at Andahuaylillas for a visit to its beautiful chapel. We will arrive in Cusco at the end of the afternoon.

Day 8
Cusco (Breakfast)

In the morning we will distance from the crowds and visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal constructions and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly. Our adventure continues at the Inca Shrine Qenqo, to see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave. Finally, we will arrive to the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay, monument of impressive architectonic knowledge considered as one of the pillars of Andean Cosmo vision.

In the afternoon our exclusive city tour starts with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy its panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market to soak in its local flavors and to learn about more of the products grown in the area which supply the whole city. After this, the Korikancha temple will welcome us in all his magnificence; this temple, whose Quechua name means “Gold Enclosure” still bedazzles us with the thought of its gold covered walls. Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church. We will walk from San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, to the Hatun Rumiyoc street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace, nowadays home to the Archbishop’s Palace and also at the famous Twelve Angle Stone. We will continue our walk to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces.

*Important: This evening you will need to pack a small bag for the next 2 days. For all train journeys, each passenger is allowed a carry-on luggage (one bag or backpack) with a weight not to exceed 5kg/11 lb, and maximum measurements of 62 linear in/ 157 linear cm (height + length + width). Baggage that exceeds these measurements will not be allowed. We ask you to pack the absolutely necessary for 02 days overnight. You should depart tomorrow for your excursion with just a small bag, your extra luggage should be stored at the hotel in Cusco.*

Day 9
Cusco - Sacred Valley (Breakfast/Lunch)

This day we will visit the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will leave for the town of Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque of the Sacred Valley. This town is also famous for its women weavers, we will make a brief stop in a textile center to appreciate its beautiful fabrics and where they will teach us the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning with Alpaca wool. In the town of Chinchero we will visit its Inca archaeological complex and its beautiful colonial church enjoying the impressive natural images that surround the town.

We will continue to Moray, beautiful and curious Inca archaeological complex composed of colossal concentric terraces simulating a large amphitheater. In Incas times, it served as an agricultural laboratory where diverse microclimates were recreated. Lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. Finally, we end our tour visiting the fabulous archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo important for the Incas as a military, religious and agricultural center. We will visit the Temple of the ten windows, the bathrooms of the ñusta, the Temple of the Sun among other places of interest. The postcards from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Day 10
Sacred Valley-Machu Picchu-Cusco-by train&bus (Breakfast/Lunch)

Morning transfer to Ollantaytambo train station, where we will depart by train to visit one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. We arrive at the Aguas Calientes station where our staff will assist us in boarding the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps, and urban areas. Energy is all around us.

After a guided visit, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area.
At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco by train and bus combination. At the train station, you will be met by our representative for your transfer to the hotel.
** The guided tour to Machu Picchu last 2 ½ hours, the maximum time allowed within Machu Picchu is 4 hours.*

2. Do we need visa to visit Peru?
Visa is not required for U.S., Canadian citizenships. Check with us for others.
3. Can 3 guests stay in the same room?
Triple room sharing is subject to hotel’s availability. For in case, if the triple room not available - single supplement may apply for the 3rd person. ​
4. How much do I pay to hold the space?
Deposit amount is 50% of the total amount.
5. What if I want to stay a few more nights?

5.Is it safe to travel in Peru?
Reality shows that it is very safe. You may have read or heard on TV, websites or newspapers about terrorism, crime and economic and political instability. But the truth is that terrorism has been defeated a long time ago; Peruvians live in peace and work very hard every day to build and democratic and safe society. We can assure visitors that all they need to do is follow the normal precautions taken in order to visit other destinations.
6.What's the weather like throughout the year?
Peru is a very large country that is crossed by the Andes and has a vast Amazonian region, so you are likely to notice differences from one place to the other, which may be more or less intense depending on the month of your visit.
It hardly ever rains on the coast, where there are usually two seasons:a warm season and a cold season.

  • If you want customize your reservation, it is essential you let us know at the time of the booking.
  • Changes to an existing reservation up to the final payment date, whatever the cause will incur a $50 per person charge plus any additional supplier fees, on/after the final payment date, cancellation terms will apply. This includes name changes/removal of any services such as optional tours & transfers etc.
  • Prior to departure date, there is a minimum fee of $50 per guest for any itinerary change or tour deviation made to a reservation after it has been confirmed. No further itinerary change or tour deviation is permitted after tour documents and/or tickets have been re-issued.
